Create a real-time visualization platform that processes and displays GPS and sensor data from 5,000+ vehicles with minimal latency.

We built a high-performance frontend using D3.js for custom visualizations and WebSockets for real-time data streaming. On the backend, we used Apache Kafka to ingest the high-velocity data stream and aggregate metrics on the fly.

The new dashboard provides updates with <100ms latency. Operational efficiency improved by 25% as dispatchers could now make decisions based on live data. The system handles 10 million events per day.
